subsi things...

Well, I'm back and try to post this posting while searching for geography homework. aaarrrgggghhh!

Now, my friends and I were getting busier because of a thing called 'SUBSI' or 'SUB SEKSI'. I believe some of you were wondering. Subsi is kinda organisation in SMAN 8 Jakarta which lead by Student Council. And we can choose one of 11 non-religion subsi based on our interest; there are:
SIERA (Seksi Upacara - Ceremony Section)
PUAPALA (Putri Putra Pecinta Alam - Nature Loving Section)
MESIS (Media Siswa - Student Media, who will organise everything about wall magazine, magazine, yearbook, etc)
OR (Olahraga- Sport Section)
Art
Kopsis (Koperasi Siswa - Student School Store, who will organise the Honesty Coperation Store, and also a small distribution store in school)
SP (Sains dan Perpustakaan - Science and Library)
Kemas (Kemasyarakatan - Social Section, who will hold a social event)
PMR (Palang Merah Remaja - Youth Red Cross)
Teksound (Techology and Sound System, for those tech-freakies!)
Pramuka (Scout), but it's flexible. We can choose Pramuka and other subsi as well :)

And for the religion section, there are 3 section, ROHIS (Rohani Islam - Islamic Spiritual), ROKRIS (Rohani Kristen - Christian Spiritual), and ROKAT (Ro ohani Katolik - Catholic Spiritual).

What did I choose? Well, I chose PMR and Rohis, because I believe that we need PMR skill in our future life *caelaaa..* and Rohis..? I'd like to join mentoring which will enrich my knowledge about Islam. Actually, mentoring will be much more FUN if we have sister. In my previous school, mentoring is a weekly routinities. We get our mentoring group on the first two month after we enroll the new academic year. Then for girls, we usually hold our mentoring on Thursday, and boys on Monday. On the first meeting, we determine our group leader, and our sister. What are sister for? For my school which is a boarding school, it would be far away from our house. Then, if we sick, our sister will take care and has the responsibility of us. She/He will bring us food, give medicine, accompany us to visit the doctor in the clinic, and many fun things. We should do the same things as they do. Oh yes. Sister are for the girls, and Brother for boys. They won't be a girls have brother :) And you will also feel the real thing called 'clannish'. You prove it by yourself, without any compulsion.

Now, let's go back to the laptop topic.

After we chose the subsi that we interested at, we started what we called 'kaderisasi' or forming of cadre. It's kinda 'practise' for us to face the real world. The seniors introduce us to the world without 'sweet things'. Kaderisasi also teach us how to think fast but logic, how to make arguments and defend it, and the most important, how to maintain your time and how to make the scale of priority. Well, at kaderisasi, we get a lot of tasks to do. And the seniors always remind us not to do it at school, so we still can pay attention to the subject.

And the end of the kaderisasi is the inauguration. The inauguration process will take place around Gunung Bunder (probably close to the place where Maviroh was held). It takes 2 days and one night, and I wonder what will happen there. Wish me luck guys! :)
